No Holiday gift yet? No worries! here are 10 DIY gift projects that you can make in less than 30 minutes!
What a better way to surprise someone this Christmas than with a homemade gift. And no, crafty gifts really don’t have to be jewelry boxes with pasta glued to them anymore. I have been searching my favourite blogs for fun projects that have a less crafty feel to the end result and a more on-trend look to them. (Think Hay Design and Anthropology but for less money and made by you!)
You can make any of these 10 DIY projects in less than 30 minutes and they are also very budget friendly.
Some might require special materials, but hey, if you are shopping for supplies why not buy a bit more and make one of these beautiful items for yourself as well?!
It’s only one week till Christmas, but that really doesn’t have to mean that you can’t get your unique gifts in time this year.
Let’s start crafting away with these amazing DIY projects:
Metallic Dipped Candle by Oleander & Palm
These luxurious looking candles are so pretty and surprisingly easy to make. I love that you can use different metallic tones to create a set.
Raw Stone earrings by Alice and Lois
I think that earrings are always a good last-minute gift to make. You won’t need many materials for the project and who wouldn’t like to get a new fancy pair of jewellery?
These stone earrings are just gorgeous and can be made in under 10 minutes!
Wool Woven Paper Basket by Fall For DIY
I love to restyle items and this basket is the perfect gift-project to add a personal touch. You can weave the bottom of the basket as shown in this tutorial or weave the entire thing if that’s more your style.
Marble Dipped Vases by Sugar & Cloth
In case you haven’t tried it yet: marble dipping is so much fun! And even beter: so so easy to do!
And what I like best about this technique is that you can use it on many different items. Mugs, plates, candles and even vases as shown in this pretty and elegant project by Sugar & Cloth.
Deer Hair Pins by Kittenhood
How festive are these hair pins! This project really shows that playfulness can still be chic and modern.
Plus the material will look great in any haircolor!
Leather Loop Keychain by Homey Oh My
Simple, stylish and suitable for men & women. I believe that this project is just perfect for everyone.
I wonder what neon leather would look like for this project..
Flower Letter by Raddest Mom
How about a perfect gift for mom or a couple that is about to get married? This project looks so fancy and it is truly very easy to make.
Raddest Mom goes for the long lasting faux flowers, but I bet that real ones will also look amazing!!
“Let’s stay in bed” Pillow by The Party Girl
I always say that you just can’t get enough pillows and with this cute DIY, you will certainly bring a smile upon someones face. It’s easy to make and you can always customise the quote depending on who you are making it for.
Hanging Mirrors by Urban Outfitters Blog
I just love this project! Mirrors really made their comeback in the home decor trend department this year. They moved their reputation from functional in the hallway to stylish around the house. And this original DIY project really fits into that trend.
Copper Origami Brooch by Lana Red Studio
And last but not least, one of my own projects. I have received so many compliments about this brooch tutorial and since it is origami folded, you can make it in minutes!
What do you think? Are you ready to give personalised and homemade gift this year for Christmas? I know that I certainly will try out a few of these projects (and maybe secretly keep them for myself).
Happy Holiday crafting everyone!xx Lana
