Not one, not two, but three of my projects can be found in the special Mollie Makes edition: Mollie Makes Embroidery!!!
As you probably already know, I have collaborated with the always creative Mollie Makes on a lot of fun projects. And even though we have worked on an embroidery project before, (which can also be found in this special edition!) this time we embraced the colourful embroidery theme and went all out with an Embroidered Denim Jacket DIY.
The project was so much fun to do and even though embroidery projects are always time consuming, this one was so much fun, time just flew by!

To quote the headline that appears next to my project in this months Mollie Makes magazine feature: “Channel your inner Sandra Dee with these gingham-trimmed socks!”
This month I collaborated with the always festive Mollie Makes on this fun sewing hack DIY project: ruffle socks.
It’s one of those projects that works in so many ways: it’s easy (even beginner sewers can do this!) it’s quick, and not to mention that you can make your own sock collection in different colours and styles for every day of the week!
Rock the ruffles above the edge of a booth or dare to go bold and wear them in a cute pair of clogs or heels.

Get ready for warmer weather with this cute Scalloped Collar Bib project in this months Mollie Makes magazine! My favourite crafty magazine and I collaborated on this original project and I am so happy with how it turned out!
I am a big fan of wearing blouses and it is definitely my go-to piece for the rare occasions that I wear pants instead of dresses ;) A bib is a perfect piece for you, my fellow blouse lovers. It is practical, cute and goes with anything!
For this months Mollie Makes I made a sewing project, showing you how to make your own bib with a limited amount of sewing patterns. Combine this sewing project with a cute fabric, add a scalloped neckline (also included in the DIY) and you are ready for spring!

Not one, but two projects that I made for the creative Mollie Makes magazine can be found in this months magazine! This time they had the wonderful idea of combining two projects and let them show off each others features together.
Since concrete is still one of my current fav materials (see my concrete jewellery DIY), this project couldn’t have come at a better time! I made this cilinder shaped concrete vase DIY and combined it with a paper peonies tutorial. The paper peonies turned out exactly as I had hoped, thanks to a secret technique;)
I love how the delicate paper flowers go so well with the grey concrete vase.

Velvet has been my ultimate favourite material last year and I really don’t plan on stopping my girly craze for 2017. Luckily the amazing Mollie Makes magazine shares my passion for this soft and lush style and we collaborated on this embroidered Velvet Pouch.
This blush pink velvet was a treat to work with, my sewing machine just flew through the fabric and turning it into this pouch-like bag was so much fun to do! Complete with a tassel and a hand embroidered detail, it felt like I could go back to the roaring twenties sporting this cutie :)
And even though it has that vintage feel to it, it somehow goes with anything! (see me wearing jeans in the photo).

When they mentioned making this photo booth project I jumped to the chance to turn my living room into a festive party location. I actually kept the wall like this for a while, just because I liked how happy it made me feel when looking at it:)
The DIY project includes how to make the festive paper garlands you see in the background and tips on how to make your own photo booth backdrop. And you can pose by yourself like I did, by I bet that it is a lot more fun to share your homemade photo booth with your friends!

It is not a secret that I am a big fan of Christmas crafts. I mean: who doesn’t love to incorporate twinkle lights, gold, baubles, and many more kitschy items into fun DIY projects?! So when I was asked by the amazing Mollie Makes magazine to collaborate for the special Christmas issue, I counldn’t be more excited!
You will find five(!) new projects that I made in this special issue: I tried the paint dipping technique for a Paint dipped baubles project. You can smell amazing this Christmas with my Lavender Body Scrub recipe, I collected small twigs on a hike and turned them into a Twig Garland. And I made small paper bags and used them for a fun alternative Advent Calendar. And last but not least I found a great way to upcycle old glasses and cups and repurposed them into Christmas Candles!
Besides the tutorials that I made for this issue, there are a total of 110 fun projects and ideas included!

It is a big understatement when I say that I like that velvet has returned this fall! The amazing people at Mollie Makes share my love for this rich fabric and we collaborated this month to create this fancy clutch! You can find the full project in this months Mollie Makes magazine!
Not only did I find the perfect color of velvet at the local fabric market for this project, I also used different sizes and shapes of beads and gems to decorate the front. And even though I usually avoid projects that involve sewing zippers (zippers and I are rarely friendly towards each other) this was actually an easy peasy zipper insert!

It’s party time! You can find my new and very festive themed project in this months Mollie Makes magazine!
A party just really isn’t a party unless there are some festive balloons, and for this DIY project we really went all out! Not only does it include how to make confetti balloons ( so much fun!) But also three different ways to make crepe paper garlands.
My favourite is the flower garland, you can make it in any color that you like and the crepe paper gives it this instant petal look.
