I have never really been someone that wears something just because it’s in fashion. And there are usually trends that I try to ignore and hope will pass as soon as possible.
But this seasons trends just have everything that I love and I will definitely rock them this winter!
Are you joining me?
Here are my 5 favorite trends this season that I know you will all want to rock along with me!
Ulyana Sergeenko | Miu Miu | Valentino
I’ve always wanted a faux fur coat, but it just seemed to have the statement of being (sorry to say:) ‘trashy’. But now that everything can be mixed with vintage it’s ok again to wear these nice soft gorgeous winter pieces! They have been all over the runways when announcing the new fall/winter lines and I love the different looks that where created.
** And as a vegetarian and a big fan of everything cute, I obviously wish that everyone loves the faux version of fur as much as I do :)
Ulyana Sergeenko | Alexander Mcqueen | Maxime Simoen
What would the winter holidays be if there wasn’t a new version of the little black dress? What I love about this years use of black is that it’s not mixed with other colors accept the occasional white. It’s different materials (leather, faux fur, wool, etc) layered in one outfit, or sometimes even mixed in one piece. This brings the outfit to a whole new level and gives it more dynamic. (I can’t wait to experiment with all my old black skirts and dresses and layer them for a new look)
Miu Miu | Christian Dior | Emanuel Ungaro
For everyone that knows me a little, knows that I am crazy about prints. Especially when they are combined with mixed colors. I’ve already been spoiled this summer when the stores where filled with floral, dotted, animal and many more prints. And I’m so happy to see that everyone else is also loving it and still wearing it this season.
I am completely crazy about the pink outfit by Miu Miu (above), and love the black accents.
Dolce & Gabanna | Kenzo | Emanuel Ungaro
When I think of gold, I usually think of new years eve or any kind of party really. I was always a bit cautious when wearing it to school/work or even just a more casual event. But it seems that there’s more gold popping up everywhere and I am starting to really get into it!
Elie Saab | Ulyana Sergeenko | Valentino
It’s the perfect season for us pear’ and ‘hourglass’ shaped girls, because the high waist is still very much in style and comes in a wide selection of options. I especially love the middle look(above). It’s that perfect combo of retro chic and feminine.

For those of you that want to rock these trends this winter but don’t want to spend a fortune, not to worry! I’ve also been looking for nice affordable pieces and there really are a lot out there! Above are some of my favorites ( I actually have that skirt, and I get compliments every time I wear it:))
