People frequently ask me what my day looks like and I always find it kinda hard to describe in words, because I always have many projects going on at the same time. So for the last two weeks I’ve been keeping my phone very close to me and have been taking pictures of my daily life. (apologies in advance for the poor lit pictures, my phone is a bit outdated ;))
Here we go:
I work as an intern at the costume department of a big theatre group in Amsterdam. My internship officially ended in december, but I still work there one day a week, to finish the project that we where working on. It’s a lot of fun and I get to learn so much about historic costumes! You can see the workspace above and some of the costumes that where made for the play.
My internship is in the centre of Amsterdam in a very pretty old building (top left). And it wouldn’t be much of a costume internship if it didn’t involve a bit of market shopping (top right).
I also have a side job besides the internship, at my school. I work at the reception, which is perfect because I can work on my blog and at the desk at the same time! And since I live in Holland and it’s Januari, it means that I have to wear my pretty rain boots pretty frequent.
I also have some classes at school and am very busy with my graduation assignments, which is still a lot of fun!
And one of the best things about my blog is improving my photography skills (obviously not the phone photography ones;). Because I bought my camera about two years ago and have been figuring things out by myself in that time, and I find it so much fun to notice that I am improving by looking at my older posts.
I also have a few other projects going on, but I felt this was already a bit much information for one post. So I decided to end with my two cute cats, because they are the best!
